"Divine" by name and nature.
A top quality mare, that has been regularly wormed, rugged and had feet trimmed, is excellent to handle and float, has a lovely nature, is registered AHAA and PRE (apto) and is a delight to have around.
** When Divine was about 8 months she was bitten on the chest by one of my broodmares and sustained a large haematoma. My vet drained the haematoma and she was put on a course of penicillin. It filled again and the vet sewed a sleeve in to drain it and the wound healed. Since then she has shown occasional lameness, noticable in the walk - what I call steps short with her near front, (doesn't stretch through). Another vet/chiropractor diagnosed a ball of knotted scar tissues in her chest. This was massaged to break up the tissue. I had her broken in February 2009 - to saddle only first, (she was going to be my next CDE harness horse). She did several trail rides up to 25ks over the next few weeks, is very forward moving and has the most amazing ground covering trot with so much impulsion, together with a lovely balanced canter, BUT pulls up lame. Hence she is only suitable for a brood mare or light riding, NOT competition.
