Tangelo has been an extremely good broodmare for us with her last foal (in picture above) winning 2009 AHAA National Champion Part-bred Junior Male and, this year, taking the honours of Victoria State Champion Junior Part-bred. All of her foals have had great temperaments and have taken everything in their stride - from showing at Royal Melbourne to being broken in, nothing has been too much bother for them. Her foals are very popular with the last two being bought by the same family. It is with great regret that she is for sale but we are scaling back our breeding program. She is always commented on when people see her for the first time usually with "what a lovely big thoroughbred’. Tangelo stands at 16.2h and is a well built type and very easy keeper and excellent mum. Very easy to live cover and handle.

Soraya is one of the country’s best performed AHAA mares with a Champion Role of Merit and many National Champion wins to her name. Her most recent performances were at the 2009 AHAA National Show where she won National Champion Part-bred Female and placed 1st and 2nd in each of her dressage tests having only had a few weeks work. She is educated to Elementary level dressage and is established in all lateral work and will quite easily do a flying change when she is in work. She is an absolute pleasure to be around and a very uncomplicated easy and enjoyable ride (you wouldn’t know when she is in season - it does not affect her work ethic). We have owned her for the past 3 years and she has been the reason my mum started riding again after having years off due to an ongoing back issue and the lack of a suitable safe horse for her to ride. We have, since thenm been gradually bringing on one of our youngsters by our stallion for mum to move on to and this is why Soraya is now for sale. She has had Queensland Itch in the past so would be best suited for a home in the Southern regions.

GP Riceto - A Unique Opportunity!
It is with real regret that Smurf is available for purchase. My husband and I are heading to the USA for a couple of years and, whilst I would love to take my boy with me, it is just too complicated to agist a stallion (may consider lease with option to purchase to the right home). Smurf is a wonderful young dressage stallion. Competing medium/advanced level, he will be ready, with the right rider, for Prix St Geroges at the end of the year when he turns 7 (DOB 10.10.03). Typical of the breed, he is super trainable and is a safe and reliable competition horse.
He has served a limited number of mares each season. He can be hand or paddock served and is very well behaved. Last foal (yearling) available for viewing and is also for sale. He was 2009 NSW Champion Junior Partbred gelding.
Smurf can be ridden by any level rider and I have used him for lessons without any hassles. He would be suitable for a small boutique stud who wants a safe stallion that can also be a top competition horse. Smurf would also be suitable for a disabled or elderly rider, as he is very comfortable and has a light contact. Standing a smidge over 15.2hh, he is a great height. He is graded elementary so can easily come back a level or two. Very well behaved at competitions and is easy to handle / catch / shoe / float / truck, etc. We regularly hack out in the forest on our own with my dogs darting in & out of the bush and kangaroos waiting until we are on top of them before shooting off and Smurf couldn’t care less. His lateral work and canter pirouettes (training ½ and full) are a particular highlight.
Sound, happy, healthy and in full work. He is susceptible to QLD itch, so would prefer location south or east. First to ride will buy!! All the hard work is done. Just get on and enjoy.
